ok new thread bc i want to know everyones FIRST concert, the very first one, the one that messed u up a little. so post it: who, what year and the one detail u still think about. mine was no doubt in like 8th grade and i lost a shoe and didnt even care, i went home in one shoe and it was the best night of my life

Mine was the Cure, and before anyone starts, no, you may not laugh, I was thirteen and I cried through "Pictures of You" and a stranger next to me handed me a napkin without even looking, and I still think about that napkin sometimes.

mine was Dashboard Confessional in 2004 and the whole crowd sang so loud that Chris just stopped and let us do it, he held the mic out and didn't sing for like a whole verse. i remember thinking, oh, this is what it feels like to be part of something. what was yours pixie, before no doubt, or was that really the first? tell me the shoe story properly.

wut ok i found this whole thread from 2005 and im SO mad i wasnt here for it. mine: Fall Out Boy, 2005, i cried the entire way through "Sugar Were Goin Down" and i lost my voice for two days after and had to write notes to my mom. adding it two years late but it counts

omg reading these again, that isnt even the part i remember most, i just remember sitting on my porch for like an hour after bc my ride left without me and i was too embarrassed to call my mom yet. still stuck with me for some reason
